Our Story
Step Out Media began in Buffalo, NY, when we couldn’t find a simple way to keep up with everything happening around town—so we created one! Our goal? To help locals discover all the best things to eat, drink, and do, any day of the week. We tell you what’s happening, what to expect, and how to make the most of it—year-round.
Unlike typical city guides built for tourists, Step Out is for locals. We go beyond the big festivals to highlight the hidden gems and everyday events that make a city vibrant. We also support small businesses through killer content and influencer-style advertising.
Founded by a curious, community-loving father-daughter team, we’ve spent over a decade helping Buffalo thrive. When visitors started asking for Step Out in their cities, we listened—expanding first to Columbus, OH, with more cities coming soon!
